Well what’s this now? It appears that the Humble Indie Bundle might be branching off a bit to include an actual store front wherein gamers can go and buy individual games for their allotted price. Why? We don’t know, but the evidence is pretty clear that something is happening.
Visiting the link below will take you to a section of the HumbleBundle.com site that has a /store/product portion attached to it as well as the ability to, right now, buy Braid apparently. I’m not 100% sure what happens were you to actually buy Braid from there right now and I wouldn’t suggest it but it’s there for you to try if you want. Also I’m not sure how long it will be there…
If this is a sign of things to come I’m not really sure what their angle is. Seems a bit odd to me that the Humble Indie Bundle would want to transition itself into a more traditional store front given how much competition is out there. I wonder if they will have any unique hooks or ideas to show off when it becomes an actual reality.
In the meantime, I’m not sure if we could get a better hint at things to come.
