Oh, sorry.
Before the 22 august update, i used Portal 2, with the dlcs and the cracked acf.
Now, when I press play, Steam say "Preparazione all'avvio di Portal 2" and after a few seconds the window get closed.
I not know why.

IDK why too but it seems to be somethink verry anoying and i want him to FIX IT!!

desactivated firewall by using run command firewall.cpl and clicking on disable firewall
but the installer still freezes

Did you download the new installer? I remember having this issue with one of the old installers found somewhere else.

i tried it of another computer it worked, i zipped the cracked steam folder and uploaded it to 2shared.com downloaded it again but it says necessary files were corrupted
can you send me an older version where there was no ads, the game im trying to play is hl2dm and theres nothing to be updated i think

You can't pklay HL2DM.
You need to buy it to play in servers.
