Так оказалось что тф2: всего-лишь рождественский билд от габенов, ксс альфа (самый обычный) портанут под макос (и/или даже под линукс) через костыли вайна, а в хл2бета ничего вкусного, поэтому понижаю хайд до 50

The talk of the HL2 beta being broken down into episodes inspired me to rethink my attempt at writing an old storyline, which I will now share with you guys (due to 2 reasons: this is secure and also allows our Gargs to see it, and I've told Cave I might be able to help with writing on his SP project).

I wrote it episodically, because that's how the topic started out.

Episode 1
-first G-Man discussion, he shows you how the world changed, RTB style
-materialize onto the Borealis's sister ship, the Aurora, being used by the Combine, where you sneak around and reach the cargo hold, where all the citizens sit blankly and await arrival
-arrive at the Area 17 Docks, where you are materialized past a secure checkpoint and into the City 17 Train, scaring Samuel
-Train Ride through the Wasteland
-Arrive at Station 17
-Barney stops you and Samuel, then argues with Samuel before recognizing you as Gordon, talks to Kleiner on a console, tells Samuel to take a different route and tells Gordon about a path that will take him through with no security, where he will meet Barney at the Arcade
-Gordon walks through the different districts, even taking a busride on the way, eventually reaching the Manhack Arcade.
-Gordon and Barney then go through the C17 Catacombs, where isolated groups of Resistance troops (they are barely surviving cells of a formerly large rebel group, which has since been decimated, so they are not refugees, nor Conscripts) are barely surviving. Barney asks the Rebels to take Gordon with them on their way to a raid and leave him at the Radio Tower
-Gordon goes through the different tunnels and maintenance areas under the Radio Tower, eventually reaching Kleiner's Lab
-Kleiner, Barney and Samuel do a videoconference with Captain Vance, Eli Maxwell, Mossman and Alyx
-They decide to teleport Gordon to work at Kraken Base with Mossman, much to Vance's anger (this is Mossman's plan to capture Gordon in a Combine raid on Kraken Base)
-The teleport fails due to Lamarr's intervention and the difference between Kraken's teleport and Kleiner's
-machinery explodes at Kleiner's, killing him and severely injuring Samuel. Barney stays behind to save Samuel as he tells Gordon to get out of the city and get to Alyx. Gordon flees through the tunnels, before the Lab caves in and explodes
-Gordon fights through the tunnels, reaching C17's surface and going through the city canals
-he continues to fight through refugee settlements and other areas, chased by a Hunter Chopper, eventually taking a Jet Ski and driving through until reaching the Wasteland Outer Wall, where the Wasteland Canals begin. The Combine begins bombing the area with Headcrab shells, Gordon becomes unconscious.

Episode 2
-Gordon wakes up and continues to navigate the Wasteland Canals in the Jet Ski, until he meets with Alyx. Alyx shows him one of her hideouts. They eventually leave on foot
-Alyx shows Gordon around the Wasteland until they reach Eli's hideout
-There they rest until the Combine raids the place, Eli shows Gordon the RTB slideshow, Alyx and Eli flee through a shortcut while Gordon goes through a series of older tunnels where other rebels lived, eventually reaching Ravenholm
-He meets Grigori who helps him escape
-Gordon continues to make his way through the Wasteland, until he reaches a Rebel settlement where he talks to Alyx, Eli Maxwell and Captain Vance
-Vance tells Gordon about his plan to liberate City 17. He tells him to make his way through the Wasteland to a Combine depot situated near an old prison, known as Nova Prospekt, where he will meet with Alyx and travel to the AirEx. Gordon takes a rebel buggy/ATV (ATV is leaky and thus awesome) with a video screen and drives throughout the Wasteland
-Gordon reaches a rebel camp just near the Depot, there they give him Bugbait and tell him to cut through the Prison
-Gordon uses the Bugbait to wreak havoc in Nova Prospekt's prison, then going through the Repair Bays to the Depot
-He fights through, meets with Alyx and takes a train out of there
-They are ambushed by Elites and make their way on foot to AirEx. Due to this delay, Vance is forced to start fighting early
-Alyx heads with a squad of Conscripts through a safe spot to Captain Vance. Gordon fights through to the Reactor, where he sabotages it and escapes by jumping in a pool of industrial solvents
-He reaches minimum safe distance, watches the Conscripts fly to the Arctic and is instructed to head to some rebel docks nearby where he will go to the Borealis, a former Arbeit research ship now turned into a Rebel ship.
-AirEx explodes as Gordon loses consciousness

Episode 3
-Gordon regains consciousness and begins fighting through narrow canyons and Antlion nests until he reaches the Rebel docks, where everyone cheers as they see him
-A sailor who made it off the Borealis before it was attacked by Sacktick shells(it was carrying Conscripts, which the Combine didn't realize)
-He takes Gordon on a tugboat to the Borealis, where he sees that the Combine is dropping Soldiers and also Headcrab shells
-The tugboat is fired upon and is destroyed, Gordon swims to the Borealis, which, as a result of Odell stopping the heat to kill the Sackticks, is now stuck in some ice
-He talks to Odell/Owen, who has barricaded himself on the outside of the ship
-Odell agrees to take Gordon to the escape submarine
-They fight through, until the Assassins hatch and Gordon must fight them
-The Combine learns that Gordon is destroying their troops and begins bombing the ship
-They escape on the submarine just as the Aurora arrives with Combine troops and destroys the already sinking Borealis
-They reach Kraken Base, where the Consul has become impatient and attacked early
-They find Mossman, still alive, which is something Odell is suspicious about
-However, Mossman has Combine troops ambush the two, as Odell is shot and killed and Gordon escapes through some vents
-Vance reestablishes contact with Gordon at Kraken's outside communications post
-Gordon heads out through the Arctic, reaching Vance and Alyx as they begin the attack on the Weather Station (Osprey's, the leak attack choppers, Bradley's, Merkava's and BRDM's are part of the Conscripts' arsenal)
-The attack is succesful and WC is destroyed. Vance heads out to C17 to participate more closely in the Uprising
-The airstrip is ambushed and Gordon holds off the remaining Combine troops as the others escape. Gordon then boards the last C-130 plane with Alyx
-The flight takes them to C17, which is engulfed by the Street War, but a Hunter Chopper intercepts the plane and shoots it down in a Skyscraper

Episode 4
-Gordon wakes up in the crashed C-130, with Alyx heavily injured. The Hunter Chopper drops off a Combine search force, as Gordon breaks through a hole in the C-130's floor and getting to a lower floor, where he overhears a CP conversation about the crash
-He reaches the crash site on a higher floor of the Skyscraper, only to find that Alyx has been taken away/has died
-He fights his way down, going through a skywalk to a neighboring building
-Gordon fights on the rooftops of the City
-He eventually fights through an old building the Combine was using as a sort of Combine museum (basically Palace), reaching street level
-He continues to fight throughout the ruined city, until he reaches an apartment block that has held out through heavy fighting, there he talks to a Conscript commander who tells him that Barney might be able to help him reach the Conscript base
-Gordon eventually reaches Barney, who is establishing an attack force to assault the Nexus
-He succeeds and fights his way with Gordon to the Conscript's base just near the Inner Wall
-Vance is furious at the news of Alyx's capture/death and decides to attack the Citadel

Episode 5
-Gordon, Vance and a large Conscript force fight their way to the Citadel through the more Combine-like districts
-They reach the Citadel's wall and breach it. Gordon must make his way inside as the Conscripts are ambushed
-Vance tells Gordon to fight his way to the Core where he will take it to Meltdown in order to destroy it
-Gordon succeeds, then fights his way to the Consul's office
-There he confronts the Consul (who is now attempting to reach immortality through Combine machines that turn him into a strange... thing) and Mossman. Vance finally arrives and guns down Mossman and maybe saves Alyx (note that Alyx dying at Vert/being saved at the Citadel is not a player choice, but a possibility depending on what other devs would want in this case), while what is remaining of the Consul heads to the Citadel's teleport
-Gordon is forced to blow up the Citadel's teleport reactor, which fucks up the meltdown mode, causing the entire Citadel to become destabilized and explode
-G-Man takes Gordon back into his hold
-The End

Согласен, более половины - бред и отсебятина. Могу выложить свою версию сюжету, составлять которую мне в свое время помогал товарищ ШЛЫК, но лучше советую последовать совету DrAkcel'я, сперва ознакомиться с этой прелюбопытнейшей статеечкой.
