как видно из скриншота, разработчики используют защиту VMProtect (в заголовке окна можно найти VMProtectSDK.h) ее снятие может затянуться очень надолго...

у меня с последним патчем(я лицушник) игра стала часто останавливаться на Ожидание соединения и потом сбросс,или просто вылетает,соединение 10\10 мегабит,до последнего патча все было супер

IW берет на основу политику Microsoft, пишут что обновляется, но не пишут что именно.

ну в обновлении вин7 у меня пишет что обновляеться) а вот с последнем патчем для кода игра стала в стиле недоработтаного Disciples 3

3) IW.exe error that kicks you back to windows screen, every other game.
4) Why is IWNet so awful

1) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 currently does not include support for dedicated servers nor is there currently any plans to add support. If support for Dedicated Servers is added in the future we'll be sure to update the official forums and other communication methods with this information.

2) IWnet matchmakes you into a game that is best for your connection. If your connection or the connection to the host changes during gameplay (becomes unplayable or disconnects), IWnet will also take that into account and Migrate to a better host for you. If a connection is lost in the process, there is nothing the game can do to prevent or avoid complete network loss.

3) This is a new issue that recently arose since the latest update to the Steam client. We have been told that it has been addressed in the latest beta version of the Steam Client and hopefully will soon be pushed live to all Steam clients.

4) Obviously this is a matter of opinion. There are hundreds of thousands of users who are playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer on PC via Steam and IWnet everyday. Many of which claim to be having a great time. If there is an issue resulting in your experience not being satisfactory beyond what you have already posted, be sure to post them here in the official forums and we'll continue to investigate and address user feedback as quickly as possible. подскажите по многопользовательской игре:
полицейский щит, когда он на спине, влияет на скорость передвижения? точнее, снижает ли он её, и если да, то существенно?

Похоже, разработчикам стало нехрен делать и они стали прикалываться над пользователями:
обновился плейлист (mp_playlists.ff), в котором они залочили еще десяток другой dvar-ов
(типа пофиксили вызов груза с ядеркой и т.п.) и теперь всех пользователей выкидывает в главное меню после карты.
При запуске игры в логе можно обнаружить такие ошибки:

на лицо видны два косяка:
1) версия плейлиста в IW.net - 131072 (= 128 * 1024 - интересно, что они там курят :D ), а у скаченного файла 373, т.е. игра всегда пытается обновить плейлист и у нее нихрена не получается
2) в плейлисте есть секция rules ((c)callofduty.ru)

максимальный размер этой секции 2048 байт, видимо они хотели впихнуть в этот список еще десяток правил и теперь при загрузке правил из него сыпятся ошибки
